Card Ideas for Special Days

Thinking about making cards for Weddings, Engagements, Anniversaries etc ?
This week I have used two kits from the Algera Designs range... Smitten and Projection to show you a couple of simple beautiful card ideas with this in mind.

Card 1 - made using Smitten
Using the labels in the kit positioned at different angles with wording can look effective.
Once printed out adding gems, stickles, or glitter would look great.

Card 2 - made using Projection
Designed using papers, frame, lace then blending a photo onto the background and adding word art.

I Love the softness of this and pretty pastel tones.

Have fun making your own  bespoke items.
Adding that little bit extra to somebody's special day.

More new Cardmaking layout ideas created fresh today in soft tones with Spring in mind.
Using two older kits from the Algera Designs range Tea & Cake and The Butterfly Within.

Clusters on each side, image of girl blended behind frame.
Word Art added to complete.

Layering ribbons horizontally across the background paper.
Using the butterflies and elements combined to create a hybrid butterfly element.

Oceans of Colour

I love the Seaside and had a play today creating a  new layout using
Oceana and Random Thoughts digikits.
Layering two or three papers from a kit and blending them to alter colours.
Clustering elements and then editing the entire layout using topaz software.

Gill (Seaside Crafter) made these great layouts which seem so timeless and beautiful.
Makes me want to get to the beach and feel the sand beneath my toes.
A mix of blends and layered photos in both of these really catches the eye.

Hope you enjoyed seeing them
both kits can be previewed in store

The Seeds Of Spring

It is that time of year here in the UK when many of us are getting out in the garden.
Here is a card idea I created today to celebrate this beautiful time of the year.

If you love making themed cards to send to keen gardeners.
These two kits work well together for making Beautiful projects.

Natural & The Rustic Gardener - Algera Designs

You could also use them to make
Scrapbook pages of your garden photo's, notes, journals etc.

Melx created this wonderful page using The Rustic Gardener.

Have fun whatever you are up to

Just for Fun

Hi Everyone, this week I had a play using three Digital Scrapbooking kits from my online store...
* Incognito, An Unusual Adventure and Wildflower - Algera Designs *
Blending papers together and mixing elements from all the kits to create one new layout.

The final top layer has colour hue blend applied to a paper
This can add a whole new colour scheme to a layout.

Why not challenge yourself just for fun
Take three of your digikits and come up with a brand new layout.

Happy Scrapping
